Research-use terms

All BioRegen products are framed for laboratory and educational research only. Products are not for human or veterinary use. Information is not medical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

Privacy and data

Short version: we do not sell your information, we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels, and we do not track you across other websites. Below is a full account of what this site actually collects, written from the code that runs it.

What is recorded when you browse

Every page sends a small usage record to our own analytics endpoint at command.snrg.me. Each record contains the page path you opened, the page that referred you, an anonymous random session id, a device class of mobile, tablet or desktop, your screen dimensions, your browser language, and a timestamp. It also sends page performance timings such as how long the page took to load and respond. No cookie is involved. The session id is generated at random in your browser, kept only in this site’s local storage, and it resets after thirty minutes of inactivity. It is not tied to your name, your email or your account. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, this is switched off entirely and nothing is sent.

The same endpoint records a short list of named actions so we can see where the site confuses people: page views, clicks on buttons and links, starting checkout, submitting an email address, and completing an order. A click record includes the visible text of what you clicked and where it pointed. An order record includes the order number and the order total. It does not include your name, your address or any payment information.

Cookies

BioRegen sets cookies for two purposes only. Neither is advertising.

• Crediting a partner. If you arrive through a partner link we set two cookies on bioregen.me and its subdomains: brv, a random visitor id, and br_aff, a signed record of the partner’s referral code (the code plus a timestamp and a cryptographic signature, so it cannot be forged or altered in your browser). Both last 60 days and exist so that the partner who referred you is credited if you order. We also log the click in our partner database with the partner code, a timestamp, the referring page and that random visitor id, alongside one way salted hashes of your IP address and browser user agent. Those hashes let us match a later order back to the click. Your raw IP address and raw user agent are not stored.
• Keeping you signed in. If you create a BioRegen account we set br_session, which keeps you signed in for 7 days. Partners signing in to the partner dashboard get brsess, which lasts 30 days. Both are marked HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read them.

Information you give us

If you enter an email address into a sign up, waitlist or research guide form, we store it. A copy stays in your browser and a copy goes to our own list with the address, any name you supplied, and which part of the site it came from. Signing in, registering an account and resetting a password are not treated as joining that list, and addresses entered there are not added to it. If you would rather not be on the list, write to us and we will take you off it.

At checkout we collect your name, your organisation or lab name if you give one, your shipping and billing address, your email address and your phone number, and we pass them to our order system so the shipment can be fulfilled and so we can reach you about the order. Card details are entered directly into a Stripe payment field and go to Stripe. BioRegen never receives, sees or stores your full card number, and no raw payment details are collected on our product or checkout pages.

The site assistant

The chat assistant is software, not a person, and it is not contained within BioRegen. When you send it a message, that message and the last few turns of the same conversation are transmitted to an automation service we run on Railway, which forwards them to a third party AI provider to produce the reply.

Alongside your message we also send a short description of what is already on your screen, so the assistant can answer without making you repeat yourself: which page you are on, the product you are viewing if you are on a product page, what is in your cart with quantities and prices, how far your order is from free shipping, and whether you already hold the members discount code. We do not send your name, your email address, your postal address, your account, your order history, or your analytics session id, and the assistant is not told who you are.

Please do not type anything into the assistant that you would not want handled by an outside service, and do not describe personal health circumstances to it. It exists to answer questions about products, documentation, handling, storage and orders. It cannot and will not provide dosing, medical, veterinary or any other human use guidance.

What this site keeps in your browser

Your cart contents, your membership status, any promotion code you entered, a partner code if you arrived through a partner link, a cart token used to talk to the store, and your acknowledgement of the research use notice are all held in your browser’s own storage on your device. Your acknowledgement of the research use notice in particular is never transmitted to us. Clearing site data for bioregen.me in your browser removes all of it.

Who else receives data

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, and our partner link handling and partner database run on Cloudflare as well, so Cloudflare processes the traffic to this site as our infrastructure provider. Pages on this site load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and browser user agent whenever a page loads. The checkout page loads Stripe’s payment library from Stripe. Products, orders and account records are held in our WooCommerce store. The assistant automation service runs on Railway and passes messages to a third party AI provider. The analytics endpoint and the partner database are operated by us. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.

Health information

BioRegen does not ask for, want, or knowingly store any health information about you or anyone else. Everything supplied here is for laboratory and educational research only and is not for human or veterinary use. Please do not send us medical details in any form, including through the assistant.

Seeing or removing what we hold

To ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, email support@bioregen.me. Include the email address you used with us so we can locate your records. We have not yet published fixed retention periods for the records described above; if that matters to you, ask and we will tell you what we hold.

Shipping

Every order ships tracked, in protected packaging, from within the USA. We currently ship to US addresses only. Standard shipping is $14, and is free on orders of $140 or more before tax. An expedited option is available at checkout for $22. You will get an email with tracking information once your order ships.
