Peptides studied for regeneration and repair
When researchers study tissue repair, two peptides come up most often: BPC-157 and TB-500. One published review of animal studies reported that, in rodents, BPC-157 was linked to better healing across several kinds of soft-tissue injury. The same review is clear that these results have not been confirmed in people [1]. A third peptide, GHK-Cu, is studied for possible roles in tissue renewal and in switching certain genes on or off. It helps to know that almost all of this work is preclinical, meaning it was done in cells or animals in the lab, not in human trials.
